Born December 3, 1946, he professed his vows in West Hartford, Connecticut on August 14, 1977. He worked for a summer in the Atlanta, Georgia parish and also worked as a hospital chaplain. He was assigned to Shelter Island and gained the respect of the people as a volunteer fireman and a member of the Shelter Island Drug Council. He was a member of the maintenance staff at the retreat house and on occasion assisted on retreats. When he died he was waked at Shelter Island. His coffin was carried on a Shelter Island fire truck to the North Ferry. In the pouring rain students from the school stood outside as it passed by. His funeral liturgy was at Jamaica, New York.
