Born Charles M. Rohe on August 15, 1874 in Fullerton, Maryland near Baltimore, like his brother, he entered the Passionists. He professed his vows on January 27, 1897. After profession he was sent to the Passionist retreat in Normandy, Missouri to assist in the kitchen. After three years it was apparent that he had pulmonary tuberculosis. In September 1900 he was sent to St. Paul, Kansas as it was supposed to be a better climate. But it did not prove to be so. On November 1, 1901 he returned to Normandy where he died.
