Born January 20, 1899 in Buffalo, New York he studied at St. Stephen’s parochial school and Canisius High School and College. He professed his vows on November 2, 1919 and was ordained on February 27, 1926. His early assignments were in parish work. He was assistant pastor at St. Ann’s, Scranton, Pennsylvania, St. Mary’s, Dunkirk, New York and St. Joseph’s, Baltimore, Maryland. After that he was a professor at Holy Cross Seminary, Dunkirk for eight years and vice-rector there from 1935 until 1940. From 1940 until 1941 he was superior at the Passionist Residence in Hyattsville, Maryland. He died at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut.
