Born August 15, 1891, he went to the Passionist seminary at St. Mary’s, Dunkirk, New York. He then went to the novitiate in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, survived a bout with typhoid and was able to profess his vows on January 24, 1909. He was ordained on May 26, 1915. From 1916 until 1948 he was a preacher of parish missions and renewals in the United States and Canada. He was superior of the Toronto, Canada foundation. In his later life he suffered from diabetes and a heart condition. He died at St. Clare’s Hospital, New York City.
