Born September 28, 1909, he professed his vows on August 15, 1929 and was ordained on May 30, 1936. He was a military chaplain and later a chaplain to Passionists Nuns at Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He was involved in parish ministry at Union City, New Jersey; Baltimore, Maryland and Atlanta, Georgia. He was pastor at St. Paul of the Cross Parish, primarily an African-American parish, during the 1960s. This was the high water mark of the civil rights movement. He was also at St. Ann’s, Scranton, Pennsylvania. He died a member of the Shrewsbury, Massachusetts community.
