Born July 5, 1909, he was professed on August 15, 1929 and ordained on May 30, 1936. From 1939 until 1954 he was Mission Procurator at Sign Magazine; from 1954 until 1959 he was at St. Paul of the Cross Parish, Atlanta, Georgia. From 1960 until 1961 he was vicar at Dunkirk, New York and was mission procurator in the Philippines from 1961 until 1965. From 1965 until 1968 he was back in the United States as vicar at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From 1968 until 1972 he was econome of the Philippine Prelature and again, from 1972 until 1974 econome at Pittsburgh. From 1974 until 1977 he was vicar at Dunkirk and then a member of the Passionist community at West Hartford, Connecticut from 1977 until 1985.
