Born November 11, 1921 in Providence, Rhode Island he went to the Passionist seminary at Dunkirk, New York. He was professed as a Passionist on August 15, 1945. He was ordained on February 27, 1951. Scripture was an important ingredient in his ministry. He preached French retreats in Canada for six years. He spent nine years in Jamaica, West Indies preaching. Six of these years were as pastor of St. Elizabeth’s Church in Kingston. In 1980 he was appointed Retreat Director in Baltimore, Maryland. Overall he preached in retreats in West Hartford, Connecticut, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, Riverdale, New York, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and North Palm Beach, Florida. Compassionate, he was sought as private counselor and by those who desired spiritual direction. He died on October 13, 1992 while he was on a preaching assignment at St. Gerard Magella Church, Port Jefferson, New York.
