Born February 7, 1900 in Eudora, Kansas, he professed his vows on April 1, 1918 and was ordained on February 1, 1925. For ten years he was pastor of St. Ann’s Church, Normandy, Missouri. He was then a preacher of parish missions and retreats and lived in Detroit, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; and Des Moines, Iowa. In Sierra Madre, California he worked for nineteen years in the parish and as a hospital chaplain until ill health forced him to retire. He died at St. Luke Hospital, Pasadena, California.
