Born December 8, 1910, he was professed on August 15, 1929 and ordained on May 30, 1936. For twelve years he was rector at St. Paul’s Monastery, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Holy Family Monastery, West Hartford, Connecticut. In both places he oversaw expansion and construction. For nine years he was master of novices; for six years he was on the provincial council. In his later years he took the Clinical Pastoral Education course and then was a member of the West Springfield retreat house staff. He loved a cigar every evening after supper. His last years were at Foley Hall, West Hartford, Connecticut.
