Born in Ballyduff, County Wexford, Ireland on January 14, 1876 he came as a small boy to the United States with his parents. After some time he decided to enter the Passionists. After novitiate, he professed his vows in Pittsburgh on November 13, 1900.
After almost thirty years in the United States on November 2, 1932 he volunteered to work with the English-speaking people in Argentina. He remained there for the next twenty-eight years of his life.
As he aged he suffered from poor health and loss of hearing. He died in Argentina.
