Born March 28, 1910 in Chicago, Illinois, he professed his vows on August 1, 1928. Studies took place Normandy, Missouri; Detroit, Michigan; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Chicago, Illinois. He was ordained on June 6, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa after which he went to Rome for graduate studies in philosophy and theology at the Angelicum. He was professor of philosophy Detroit and for six years was vice-rector of Immaculate Conception Monastery, Chicago. He arrived in Sierra Madre, California in 1953 where he was a preacher of retreats and retreat master. It was there that he died.
