Born April 19, 1913; professed August 15, 1933; ordained April 23, 1940. During his early years as a preacher he wrote The Pews Talk Back. He coordinated the building of a number of Passionist monasteries as chairman of the province building committee. He directed the expansion building in West Springfield, Massachusetts, the retreat center in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, the retreat center at Riverdale, New York, the new church at Atlanta, Georgia, the new monastery at North Palm Beach, Florida and the seminary wing at West Hartford, Connecticut which eventually became Foley Hall. In 1963 he became general manager of Sign Magazine and held that position for fifteen years. In 1979 he moved to West Hartford and served as a hospital chaplain at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury, Connecticut. He worked there until 1986. He was rector, and a provincial consultor. He died a member of the West Hartford community.
