Born on August 23, 1893 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Mr and Mrs. Joseph Kuebel and attended St. Catherine School. After graduation in 1908 he entered the Passionist Preparatory Seminary at St. Mary’s Monastery, Dunkirk, New York. On October 23, 1910 he took his vows. On May 16, 1918, after three years of theology he was ordained a priest.
From 1920 to 1928 he taught Latin classics and English literature. From 1928 to 1933 he volunteered to work in the Austria-German Vice-province teaching Moral Theology and serving in the Preparatory School. He returned to the United States and for seven years taught Morals and Ascetical Theology. Beginning in 1944 he served as province chronicler and also served as chaplain to the Visitation Sisters in Riverdale. He died at St. Vincent Strambi Residence in Riverdale, New York.
