Born August 16, 1911, at fourteen years of age he entered the Passionist Preparatory School. He professed his vows on August 15, 1929 and was ordained on May 30, 1936. For ten years he was teacher of biology at Holy Cross Seminary, Dunkirk, New York. He also was a musician, singer, and counselor to the students. After some years, emotionally exhausted he resided at St. Joseph’s Monastery, Baltimore, Maryland. Between 1951 and 1967 he went through a great deal of suffering. A faithful letter writer he was able to communicate with many people.
