Born June 9, 1898 in Chicago, Illinois, he professed his vows on August 16, 1914 and was ordained on August 14, 1921 in Chicago. He was in Chicago from 1945 until 1956 and was also in parishes in Sierra Madre, California and St. Louis. He was a preacher of missions and The Sign Magazine. He was pastor of St. Agnes Church, Louisville, Kentucky from 1956 until 1964. He was a member of the Citrus Heights, California community beginning in January 1964. He died in Louisville of a heart attack just before he was to take part in a celebration commemorating his 50 years as a Passionist.
